The larger project involved removing the partition wall between the kitchen and living room area to allow for a fully open concept living and entertaining space. Because the clients didn’t want this kitchen to look too stark, they selected a warm wood floor and we pulled that into the back of the island as well as a custom media centre in the living room. The cabinets are smooth on the eyes and the hands! The white Matte finish of the doors softens the contemporary vibe perfectly. The client was clear they wanted the kitchen to work in zones so with that we created a baking area to the right of the range and coffee area off to the side of the sink. Some other funky features of this space; the drawer microwave, and appliance lift!
